In a world where the reality is absorbed through digital screens do we still find reality exciting to interact with? Experience Art Use Me is designed to create artistic excitement in people and new occasions, situations, interactions, coincidences, which turn into thousands stories, upside-down perspectives and incomprehensible twists.
The project is meant to portrait the society of the current city, in the current moment. The city becomes a playground, a living gallery.

Experience Art - Use Me è stato progettato per creare entusiasmo artistico nelle persone, nuove occasioni, situazioni, interazioni, coincidenze, che si trasformano in migliaia di storie, prospettive capovolte e colpi di scena incomprensibili. Il progetto ha lo scopo di ritrarre la società della città attuale, nel momento attuale. Qui e ora. La città diventa un playground, una galleria vivente.

Florence is a cradle of arts. Artists from all over the world come here to express themselves. What makes you an artist? What do you do? Who are you? If you put your time, mind and soul on something that you really love, you are an artist of your kind. We believe that everyone has something to say with words, shapes, paint-strokes. That’s why we have placed 50 little canvasses in different parts of Florence, which you can USE to express yourself.

USE ME - Firenze

Questo video è dedicato alla preparazione del progetto "Experience Art: Use Me" - una nuova esperienza di arte partecipativa a Firenze dal 08.01.2016 al 15.01.2016.
Firenze è la culla delle arti. Artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo vengono qui per esprimere se stessi. Che cosa fa di te un artista? Che cosa fai? Chi sei? Crediamo che ognuno di noi ha qualcosa di artistico da dire. Anche nel nostro lavoro siamo tutti artisti quando lo facciamo con passione e creatività. È per questo che abbiamo disposto 50 piccole tele in diverse parti di Firenze, che puoi usare per esprimere te stesso.

One way

On the background of a landscape that has remained unchanged for over five hundred years - the Duomo – there’s been a person sitting naked on a roof for several weeks, awaiting the cyclic change of the endless days and nights. Her body reacts and responds to the changes of the day (wind blowing through her hair, rain showering her body, light narrowing his pupils). The images run faster and faster... Then, on one of the windiest days, she finally stands up, determined to break that endless cycle. The video slows. She moves a step towards the end of the roof and looks at the landscape for the last time; agitated, she feels her own breath, and walks another step... Then she takes off... The Duomo becoming smaller, as she goes higher and higher. The video is a metaphor for reflection and for the search of new creative, nonconformal solutions. It also serves as a theme for the overruns of the physical and mental limits of an individual’s capabilities.

Unica via d'uscita

Sullo sfondo un paesaggio immutabile per più di mezzo millennio - il Duomo, una persona seduta nuda per settimane sulla cima di un tetto assiste al cambiamento ciclico di infiniti giorni e notti.
Il suo corpo reagisce e risponde al cambio dei giorni e del tempo (il vento le muove i capelli, la pioggia la bagna, la luce restringe le pupille). Le immagini corrono sempre più veloce...
È uno di quei giorni molto ventosi, lei si alza in piedi, decisa a smettere di seguire l'infinito.
Il video rallenta. Lei fa un passo verso la fine del tetto. Guarda un'ultima volta con i propri occhi il panorama, è agitata, si sente dal respiro, fa un altro passo ancora... E decolla...
Il Duomo rimane sempre più giù, mentre lei è sempre più in alto.
Il video può essere un stimolo per la riflessione e la ricerca di nuovi soluzione creative ed insolite da parte dell'osservatore per le proprie necessità.
